Sanders introducing employee-ownership bill


BURLINGTON (AP) - Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is introducing a bill to provide assistance to workers who want to form their own businesses.

The bill would help with the creation of Employee Stock Ownership Plans or worker-owned cooperatives.

Sanders was being joined by representatives of worker-owned businesses and an employee ownership expert at Rutgers University at a news conference Monday morning in Burlington.
