Roundup: Eagles fall to Rockets

ROCHESTER -- Julia Lacoste scored 22 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, but foul trouble doomed the Arlington Memorial High School girls basketball team in a 57-54 loss to Rochester/Whitcomb on Monday night.

"We found a way to not win it," said Arlington coach Larry Andrews.

Arlington outscored Rochester in three of the four quarters, but an 16-8 second quarter proved to be the difference.

"We had some defensive breakdowns in the second, but it was a seesaw battle throughout," Andrews said.

Molly Elwell added 15 for the Eagles, who drop to 4-5.
