Readsboro, Vt.: Folk rock band to perform Friday

Readsboro Arts will present Greg Smith and The Broken English live in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the Bullock Building on Main Street.

The New York City-based folk-rock band features Greenfield, Mass., native Smith on guitar and lead vocals joined by vocalist Dayna Webber, Josh Chaplin on guitar, Jon Callegari on bass and Sean Tuccillo, percussion.

The band plays a mix of folk, rock, country, and soul. Smith’s latest album, "Ramblin’ Road," has been nominated for Best Alternative Country Album by the Independent Music Awards.
