Police: Stamford home broken into; nothing taken

STAMFORD -- On Monday at about 10 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a burglary at a residence on East Road in Stamford. Upon arrival, troopers learned that during that day between 2:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. someone broke into the residence but no items were taken, police said.

The Vermont State Police are asking anyone with information to contact Trooper Dave Ferencik at 802-442-5421. Information can also be submitted anonymously online at www.vtips.info or text "CRIMES" (274637) to keyword: "VTIPS."
