Police seek information on Ramunto’s burglary

BENNINGTON -- Police are looking to the public for help with identifying burglars who hit Ramunto’s Pizza Sunday night.

The Bennington Police Department said it is investigating a burglary at the pizza shop at 519 Main St. Two suspects forced their way into the restaurant through the back of the restaurant after it had closed for the night. Surveillance video shows two suspects inside the restaurant, attempting to gain access to cash registers.

One white male on the video has a slender build with dark hair and a distinctive tattoo on the back of his left arm. The second suspect is a white male wearing a light colored baseball cap and a light colored bandana over his face.

Anyone with information about the burglary or identities of either suspect is asked to call Officer Benjamin Lackey at 802-442-1030.
