Police: Passenger seriously injured in highway crash
BRAINTREE, VT. >> Vermont State Police say a passenger was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in the Orange County town of Braintree.
Police say 20-year-old Spencer Brown of Braintree was driving south on Route 12A at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday when he went off the road and struck several trees.
The passenger, who wasn't identified, was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, with serious injuries.
Police say alcohol and speed are considered factors in the crash. It remains under investigation.
