Charges pending in accident involving car v. motorcycle
MANCHESTER -- Police said the driver of a Volvo that caused a crash with a motorcycle on Monday may face charges.
According to Manchester Police, at 4:50 p.m. they responded to a crash at the intersection of Center Hill Road and Depot Street. Mark Haskell, of Schenectady, New York, and a passenger, were on a motorcycle heading west on Depot Street while a 1993 Volvo driven by Taylor Secoy, 24, was traveling east.
Secoy turned left to go onto Center Hill Road and failed to yield to Haskell, who was injured along with his passenger when the vehicles collided.
Police did not specify how severe their injuries were.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Manchester Police at 802-362-2121.

POWNAL -- A 42-year-old Bennington man is facing a voyeurism charge after State Police said he took a picture of a woman while she slept and posted to Facebook.
State Police said the woman in question contacted them on Tuesday to say she found the photo posted to Steve Carbonaro's Facebook page. Carbonaro has been cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court on Sept. 15.

Some charges dismissed
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday: Jacob Prevost, 34, of the Catamount mobile home park, Bennington, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of class A drug possession and class B drug possession that were continued without a finding until Aug. 5, 2015.
Charges of an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and conspiracy to violate drug law were dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.
