Police: Man dead, woman hurt in Syracuse shooting
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -- Police say a man is dead and a woman hospitalized with critical injuries after an overnight shooting in a Syracuse home.
Officers were called to the house on Highland Street to investigate a report of shots fired shortly before 4:30 a.m. Sunday. They found a man dead and a woman wounded inside the home.
The dead man was identified Sunday afternoon as 49-year-old Angelo Jenkins. Police haven’t released the 28-year-old woman’s name.
No arrests have been made.
