Police find 90-year-old Vt. man, left nursing home


ROYALTON (AP) - Vermont State Police have found a 90-year-old man who went missing from a nursing home.

Police believe Gilbert Garriepy left on foot from the Windover House in Randolph. He was reported missing Monday morning and found in Randolph village about 12:30 p.m. He was being evaluated.

Garriepy was last seen at the home at 7:15 p.m. Sunday.

The state police search and rescue team coordinated with Randolph Police Department, local fire departments, Vermont Fish and Wildlife, K9 units, and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter.
