Over $40,000 raised at Bowl for Kids’ Sake

Posted

BENNINGTON -- Following the 27th annual bowl-a-thon at Bennington Lanes on Saturday, April 5, nearly 500 bowlers pledged over $40,000 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bennington County. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a mentoring program of the United Counseling Services that has over 70 mentor-mentee matches across the greater-Bennington area.

The Bank of Bennington was the title sponsor of the bowl-a-thon. All funds raised at the event contribute directly into program operations, which will be used to fund activities, seek new mentors and pair them with children who would benefit from a role model.
