ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Albany County authorities say a 52-year-old child sex predator from upstate New York has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Judge Dan Lamont has sentenced Gene Farnham of Watervliet following his jury convictions on two felony counts of predatory sexual assault against a child and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
According to prosecutors, in September 2009 and again sometime in 2010-2011 Farnham had intercourse with a child under age 11.
Authorities say he has three prior convictions for sex-based offenses.
