No serious injuries reported in rollover
WHITE CREEK, N.Y. - No serious injuries were reported from a two-car accident in White Creek, N.Y. near Benson's Dairy Bar on Saturday.
Melissa Stone was travelling south on Route 22 when a vehicle driven by an elderly man, who was pulling out of County Road 69, struck her car. Her car overturned, and the man continued driving for several hundred feet before his vehicle stopped running. According to authorities, the man had no idea he had hit another vehicle.
The intersection where the crash occurred is also the intersections of Routes 22 and 67.
Authorities responded with the help of the Hoosick Fire Department and the Cambridge Police, and were reportedly able to clear the scene in under an hour.
Stone posted on the Banner's Facebook page that she and the other driver were okay, confirming an earlier report from police. Calls placed to the Washington County Sherriff's Office requesting more information were not returned as of press time.
