BENNINGTON - A weekly adult grief support group for those who have lost a loved one is held every Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Vermont Veterans Home on North Street.

Overeaters Anonymous meets

BENNINGTON - Overeaters Anonymous meets on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at the Bennington Free Library, 101 Silver St.

Bingo Tuesdays at Lodge

BENNINGTON - Bingo is held every Tuesday at the Bennington Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available.

Story time at Cheney Library

HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. - Cheney Library will host a story time for preschoolers and their caregivers on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Several of the classic tales and songs will be offered. There will be crafts and snacks. Plan to come with your preschool child.

Meditation for Everyone

BENNINGTON - Meditation is practiced Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. at The Bennington Free Library. There is a $1 requested contribution if possible. Beginning and experienced meditators are welcome. Chairs are available. If you wish to sit on a cushion, bring one.

Sessions facilitated by: Randy Anselmo, Maggie Bernstein, John Hearst, Natasha Judson, Eve Pearce and Jane Schaeffer.

CAT-TV open house

BENNINGTON - Catamount Access Television covers meetings, answers questions, instructs classes, and encourages people to use their talents in planning, producing and directing their own programs.

Join the staff of CAT-TV from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. as they open their offices at 625 Main St. to members of the community, who are curious and want to learn more about the organization and become new members.

This will be a structured open house (arrive at 5:30 p.m. and leave at 6:45 p.m.).

People who live, work or go to school full time in Woodford, Bennington, Pownal, North Bennington and Shaftsbury can become members for free. Others living outside of these areas can become a member for a nominal fee.

The Magic of Storybooks at HAYC3

HOOSICK FALLS - Registration for HAYC3's School Vacation Enrichment Program Is Now Open. This February break, send your child on a magical journey through books and stories at HAYC3's popular School Vacation Enrichment Program. "Once Upon a Story Book, Winter Edition" is a week of classic and modern stories, fairy tales and more come to life. The program is from Feb. 17 to 21. Kids will love this imagination-driven, creative storybook themed camp. Each day will be a new adventure, focusing on different books. Games, activities, and even snacks will be related to that day's book. What a great way to connect kids to reading and open doors in their minds.

The Vacation Program runs each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended hours until 6 p.m. Snacks are provided, but kids should bring a lunch. The cost is $110 per week per child. Enrollment is limited and the program fills up quickly, so go to rogram/, email, or call 518-686-9050 to reserve a spot for your child (or children).
