Informational session about health coverage
POWNAL -- Nancy from BROC will from 10 a.m. to noon be at the Pownal Center Fire house to discuss health care coverage and/or to arrange an appointment to apply for coverage. Remember that open enrollment ends March 15.
Bereavement support group

Bingo Tuesdays at Moose Lodge
BENNINGTON -- Bingo is held every Tuesday at the Bennington Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available.
Story Time at Cheney Library
HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- Cheney Library will hold a story time for preschoolers and their caregivers on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Several of the classic tales and songs will be featured. There will be crafts and snacks. Plan to come with your preschool child.
Meditation for everyone
BENNINGTON -- Meditation is held Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. at The Bennington Free Library. There is a $1 requested contribution, if possible. Beginning and experienced meditators are welcome. Chairs are available. If you wish to sit on a cushion, bring one. Sessions facilitated by: Randy Anselmo, Maggie Bernstein, John Hearst, Natasha Judson, Eve Pearce and Jane Schaeffer.

The group is for survivors of the sudden unexpected death of their spouse or significant other. No registration is required and it is free. BENNINGTON -- Are you caring for a loved one? Bennington Project Independence, Adult Day Service, partners with families to share information and problem solve to make caregiving for a loved one easier. Families Together meets at BPI on the last Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Cambridge school budget workshops upcoming
CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. -- The Board of Education of the Cambridge Central School District has announced the dates of its budget workshops: Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, March 12 at 6 p.m.; Monday, March 24, at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. All meetings will be held in the auditorium at 24 South Park St.
Photojournalist to speak at Williams College
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Photojournalist Ashley Gilbertson will come to Williams College to talk about his work in the Middle East. The event will take place at 7 p.m. in Lawrence Hall, room L231. The event is free and open to the public.
Gilbertson is a photographer with the VII photo agency, best known for his photographs from Iraq, where he worked from 2002 through 2008. His work was published widely, and he won the Robert Capa Gold Medal Award from the Overseas Press Club in 2004 for his photographic reportage.
