Bingo at Bennington Moose Lodge
BENNINGTON -- Bingo is held Tuesdays at the Bennington Moose. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Story time at Cheney Library
HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- Cheney Library will have story time for preschoolers and their caregivers on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Several of the classic tales and songs are offered. There will be crafts and snacks. Plan to come with your preschool child; it will be lots of fun for both of you.

Bereavement support group

Taconic Community Grange meets
SHAFTSBURY -- All meetings of Taconic Community Grange No. 491 are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the grange hall on Grange Road, next to the Shaftsbury Head Start building. Meetings begin at 7 p.m.
Lions May dinner meeting
BENNINGTON -- The Bennington Lions will hold its May dinner meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Bennington Station Restaurant. Call Lion Kathy at 802-442-4033 for reservations.
Senior Center activities
BENNINGTON -- On Tuesdays in May, the Senior Center will have bone builders from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. and 10 to 11:15 a.m., RSVP. They will also have HELP from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Bookmark design contest for kids
MANCHESTER -- The Northshire Bookstore is looking for creative kids to design an "Adventures in Reading" bookmark. Children ages 12 and under are invited to submit their entries by May 31.
Design a bookmark that shows your idea of Adventures in Reading -- imaginary or real. The winning designs will be chosen and made into limited edition, official bookstore bookmarks. Pick up an entry form at the store or go to northshire.com to print the PDF template.
Bookmarks will be on display and available in the store by June 10.
