Village Harmony Teen Ensemble concerts

BENNINGTON -- Village Harmony, the acclaimed teen world music singing ensemble, led by Larry Gordon, Suzannah Park and special guest conductor Carlos Jurado from Colombia, will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Second Congregational Church, 115 Hillside St.

The group includes 25 teen singers 12 to 18 from nine states and France. The program includes traditional songs and choral arrangements from Latin America, South African songs and dances, American Appalachian and shape-note songs and several renaissance works. Bingo Tuesdays at Bennington Moose

BENNINGTON -- Bingo is held Tuesdays at the Bennington Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Storytime at Cheney Library

HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- Cheney Library will hold storytime for preschoolers and their caregivers on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Several of the classic tales and songs will be offered. There will be crafts and snacks. Plan to come with your preschool child; it will be lots of fun for both of you.

Bereavement support group

Playgroup for toddlers and parents

BENNINGTON -- The Bennington County Child Advocacy Center is sponsoring a play and education group for children 2 to 5 and their parent/guardian. The activities include: fine motor skill activities, music, story time, social skills activities, snack time, and free play. Grief support group for parents who have lost a child

BENNINGTON -- A confidential and free grief support group is available for any parent living with a loss of a child (any age) due to a death. This group meets every first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m., at the Second Congregational Church on Hillside Street. For information, call 802-688-4557.

Bennington Lions board

BENNINGTON -- The Bennington Lions Club Board meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the TD Bank boardroom. Club officers should attend.

Family fun day benefit at farm

NORTH BENNINGTON -- Come spend a fun Saturday at Kinberly Farms with horses, a gourmet food buffet, live music, and good company. Family fun day will take place Saturday, Aug. 9. from 1 to 4 p.m.

The event will be open to everybody and will feature lunch buffet with local food from the Blue Benn Diner, Publyk House, Mighty Food Farm, Crazy Russian Girls, Al Ducci's, Bennington Station, Polymeadows Farm, True Love Farm, and others; live music by the Hale Mountain Pickers; pony rides; face painting; a photo booth; horse shoe games; and more.
