POWNAL -- American Legion Post 90 in Pownal holds bingo on Thursdays. Doors open at 5 p.m., and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m., promptly. There will be two progressive games. A snack bar will be available.
Bennington Free Clinic
BENNINGTON -- The Bennington Free Clinic is held each Thursday starting at 6 p.m. This clinic is for uninsured people 18 years of age or older, who would otherwise fall through the cracks of our fractured health care system. It is located in the First Baptist Church at 601 Main St. Call 802-447-3700 for an appointment to be seen.

Faculty lecture series
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- During February and March, Williams College will sponsor its annual Faculty Lecture Series. The aim of the series is to present big ideas beyond disciplinary boundaries. The remaining lectures of the series will occur on Feb. 27, and March 6, 13, and 20. All lectures will be held at 4:15 p.m. in Wege Auditorium, Thompson Chemistry, with a reception to follow in Schow Atrium. The lectures are free and open to the public.
Professor of Spanish Gene Bell-Villada will discuss "Growing up Internationally, and How it Shapes a Child," in his talk.
