Thanks to all who voted for me on Tuesday. It’s apparent that the town is just not ready for me yet.

Also, thank you again, 6th grade students for your participation in the Town Report. Maybe someday you will be interested enough to run for office in town.

Finally, thank you Ray Shields for asking Green Mountain Power to bring their bucket down to fix the flag at the town office in Pownal. Had it not been fixed, it wouldn’t have been at half staff for Dale.


Pownal From the Hiland Hall School with gratitude

The Hiland Hall School in Bennington held its first annual Soup Stock event on Saturday, March 1, to raise money for the school’s scholarship fund. Held at the North Bennington Fire House, the event featured soups, bread and sweets donated by area restaurants and Hiland Hall families, music by Joe Tucker and Friends, and a raffle with items donated by friends and businesses near and far.
