MAU student mosaics featured at Fiddlehead at Four Corners

BENNINGTON -- Fiddlehead at Four Corners has partnered with the Quantum Leap Exhibit Program at Mount Anthony Union High School and is selling the students’ masterful glass and tile mosaics.

The first 6 Quantum Leap pieces for sale at Fiddlehead are Finn Finnley, Crows, Mirror, Motivation, Fox, and 2 Wolves.

Another masterful work on display only is Bengal Tiger by current senior Andrew Brandmeyer, who made Fox and 2 Wolves. Each piece comes with a 3-page report the student wrote about his or her artistic journey.

Fiddlehead will take on more mosaics after Quantum Leap’s year-end show in May.

Bennington College grads Joel and Nina Lentzner (’91) have owned and operated Fiddlehead since 2000. Joel summed up his feelings about the Quantum Leap mosaics: "It’s important for the community to have a conduit between our talented local young artists and the larger art world.

The work from the Quantum Leap students at Mount Anthony is the same quality and evokes the same emotions as the work that we carry of other professional artists around the country. I believe these students are creating some of the finest mosaic pieces in the country today."

Gallery manager Joey Kulkin is writing a series about Quantum Leap Exhibit Program. The first 4 stories can be found on Fiddlehead’s Facebook page.

Fiddlehead is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
