Manchester law firm gets a new name


MANCHESTER >> Witten, Woolmington, Campbell & Bernal P.C., a Manchester-based law firm founded in 1976, has changed its name to Woolmington, Campbell, Bernal & Bent P.C.

Merrill E. Bent, formerly an associate with the firm, is now a director. Marshall Witten has retired from the practice of law.

John D. Stasny, of Manchester, has joined the firm as an associate attorney, specializing in civil litigation. Mr. Stasny is admitted to practice law in all state courts of Vermont, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stasny practiced criminal defense at the Stasny Law Firm, in Bryan, Texas. Originally from Texas, Mr. Stasny earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University, and went on to graduate with high honors from University of Texas School of Law, in Austin. Mr. Stasny also served on the Texas Law Review.

Mr. Stasny lives in Manchester with his wife, Courtney, and their four children.
