Letters: Vermont Center for Independent Living thanks voters

I would like to thank the voters of Bennington for the support that was given to the Vermont Center for Independent Living on Town Meeting Day.

Residents Voted to give VCIL the allocation we asked for which will assist us in providing services to people with disabilities. Additional, area towns that helped VCIL by voting for their town’s allocation include; Arlington, Manchester, Peru, Pownal, Readsboro, Rupert, Sandgate, Searsburg, Sunderland, Shaftsbury, & Woodford.

Independent Living Higgins thanks residents of Woodford

It is with my heart-felt and sincere thanks that I extend to you on your recent vote at Town Meeting to reelect me as your Town Clerk for 3 more years. You also elected me to the positions of Listener - 3 years and Trustee of Public funds - 3 years. I am extremely grateful and I promise you that I will continue to use the highest degree of honestly, integrity and best judgment in the exercise of these duties.
