I would like to encourage the voters of Bennington School District to participate in the May 21st Special Meeting for the revote of the BSD budget. The ballots are now available at the Town Clerk’s Office. The Town Clerk’s Office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You may vote in person at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours or have a ballot mailed.
If you need a ballot mailed to you, you may call the Town Clerk’s Office at (802) 442-1043. The deadline for voter registration is May 15 at 5 p.m. Vermont State law allows anyone who wants to cast an early ballot to do so without giving any reason.
Voting will be at the Firehouse at the corner of River and Lincoln Streetsand the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bennington Town Clerk Regarding the Bennington Road Race
On behalf of the Bennington Road Race Committee I would like to commend the Bennington Banner for providing excellent coverage for this important community event.
Our 35th annual race was a great success, and we do want to also pass along our thanks to the many volunteers and sponsors who helped make it possible.
We do wish to apologize for the delay and confusion that occurred regarding the announcement and publication of the race results. We will forward to the Banner a final results list broken down by age category very shortly.
