Letters: MAUMA custodians performed well

MAUMS custodial staff did their jobs

On Friday, Nov. 2, I was at the Mount Anthony Middle School training literacy teachers (see Bennington Banner, Oct. 26 article) when the lockdown call was made.

The custodial staff, Darlene Jones, Tim Burgess, Joan Lampron, and Stan Lampron were supportive, helpful, and professional. They guided our group to a safe location and made us feel welcomed and secure in an unknown building under difficult circumstances.

School custodians are unsung heroes, making our schools clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. As a visitor, I would like to express heartfelt appreciation to MAUMS custodial staff for all they do.
