Letters: BCRC gets grant
As part of the Vermont Ecosystem Restoration Program’s annual competitive grant process, a Project Selection Committee has elected to award The Bennington County Regional Commission $10,962 to develop a Stormwater Master Plan for White Creek and Mill Brook watersheds in Rupert, Vermont. The Stormwater Master Plan will identify, map, evaluate and prioritize stormwater problem sites in the Town, and will outline appropriate steps the Town Highway Department can take to address those problems. This grant serves the dual purpose of protecting the State’s water quality and supporting the BCRC’s goal to work to build strong, resilient, and sustainable communities, to foster economic prosperity, and to promote a high quality of life for residents of the region. The BCRC will work with Fitzgerald Environment Associates, LLC., The Rupert Highway Department, and Rupert Select Board to develop and adopt the Stormwater Master Plan.

Thanks to Ken and the Chocolate Shoppe
I would like to thank Ken and employees of the Chocolate Shoppe for leaving a message for me concerning "something" I left at the Shoppe. My checkbook!
I cannot say enough for the honesty and concerns of the staff.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
P.S. The chocolates are great!
