Letter: Susan Stamper Brown was right on immigration
I don't very often submit a letter to the Editor but I felt I had to make this one. The commentary article by Susan Stamper Brown titled, "Returning to the rule of law is cruel?" was spot on. Her points were well defined and outlined the illegality of the entire DACA program as instituted by former President Obama after Congress failed to make a stand on this issue. Executive orders are not the law of the land, only Congress can enact such documentation, and this one in particular goes against every immigration law in this country. President Trump did not "throw the baby out with the bath water," rather he handed the responsibility back to Congress for enactment.
