Landowners in Batten Kill watershed sought

Posted

BENNINGTON >> The Bennington County Conservation District is looking for owners of forest or streamside lands in the Batten Kill watershed in Vermont whose properties have been invaded by barberry or Japanese knotweed. We'd like to discuss holding workshops on your land in summer and early fall 2016, where we'll demonstrate various invasive plant control techniques, possibly including the use of herbicides. If interested, please contact Shelly Stiles at 802 442-2275 or bccd@sover.net.
