Kindness Bandits make valentines for Meals on Wheels patrons

Posted

DORSET -- The LTS Kindness Bandits, a group of students in an elective class at Long Trail School, teamed up to create a Valentine gift for the local Meals on Wheels organization. Susan Fox, executive director for the Bennington County Meals on Wheels program, was thrilled when she learned that the Kindness Bandits wanted to pay it forward by making special Valentine’s cards for 80 Meals patrons. In addition, the Bandits designed special cards for their schoolmates and teachers. The group’s next projects will include a skit on Random Acts of Kindness and a visit to the local food pantry. LTS staff member Patti Alexander leads the Kindness group whose members include Regina Marchese, Ashley Stork, Clara Staples, Stella Farrell and Breanna Goodell.
