Hubbard Hall running ‘Arts Around the World’ kids program during February vacation

CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. -- Kids ages 6 to 12 can spend their school vacation exploring the world through art as Hubbard Hall offers its popular February school vacation program Arts Around the World.

This year we will be exploring the music, dance, crafts, foods and stories of the unique cultures of Germany, China and Peru. Special guests will share their personal travel experiences, and we’ll create art inspired by what we learn. Each day will include outdoor play time and activities (weather permitting), crafts, music, dancing and cooking! In the afternoon we’ll "chill out" with stories or movies or open studio time. The week will wrap up with an international feast, "museum" exhibit and performance for family and friends on Friday afternoon. Take a spin around the globe this vacation! Register early as space is limited! Recommended for ages 6 to 12. Hearty home-cooked snack provided daily, please bring a bag lunch and dress for creating art!

The program begins on Monday, Feb. 17 and continues through Friday, Feb. 21, daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Beacon Feed Studio building, behind Hubbard Hall. Registration for the week of activities and education is $219 or $199 for members and includes all materials and snacks. Registration is required and may be completed at or by calling 518-677-2495 weekday afternoons. Please call for sibling discounts. Tuition assistance is available.
