Gov. Shumlin to cut Christmas tree for his office

RICHMOND, VT. >> Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin is going to be cutting the Christmas tree for his office at a Williston farm.

Shumlin will be accompanied Monday during his visit to the Isham Family Farm by Vermont Agriculture Secretary Chuck Ross and Tim Schmalz, the head of the Plant Industry Division of the Agency of Agriculture.

Shumlin will be continuing the annual tradition of visiting a local tree grower to cut his own Christmas tree for his Pavilion Building office in Montpelier.
