Snowmobiling event for adults, children with special needs

WOODFORD -- The Woodford SnoBusters are once again hosting their annual Very Special People Ride which gives snowmobile rides for adults and children 6+ with special needs.

The event will be at the McKenna Barn in Woodford. Come join us for hot dogs, refreshments and snowmobile rides on Saturday, Feb. 8, from noon to 3 p.m. This event is free. Sojourner Tours seeks volunteers

BENNINGTON -- As a graduate of Bennington, the co-owner of Sojourner Tours is extending an opportunity to people living in the Bennington area. Sojourner Tours is currently looking for volunteers for a first run of a new French tour itinerary June 15-24, 2014.

The leisurely excursion features wine tasting, canoeing, hiking and biking.

Volunteers pay for their own transportation to and from the site and a flat rate that covers basic expenses: hotel; food; local transportation; fees to all sites and activities, etc. The company doesn’t make a profit but arranges all logistics as with regular tours.
