Meals on Wheels partners with Bennington Subaru

BENNINGTON -- Meals on Wheels has announced that it has partnered with Bennington Subaru this holiday season by volunteering to deliver meals all through the Holiday Season. This local effort is part of the Meals On Wheels Association of America's (MOWAA) participation in the national Subaru of America Inc. "Share the Love" event.

Meals on Wheels relies on volunteers to deliver healthy food to the elders in the community. Its serves almost 200 meals per day all through the year. The employees of Bennington Subaru have made the commitment to help make deliveries all through the Holiday Season, and Meals on Wheels thanks them for their help and support.

Wooliver Roofing acquires Doxsee Roofing

LANESBOROUGH, Mass. --Douglas J. Wooliver & Sons Inc., a provider of commercial roofing and sheet metal installations announced the acquisition of Doxsee Roofing Inc. of Bennington, Vt. The transaction increaes Wooliver's footprint to northeastern New York, northern Vermont, and southwestern New Hampshire.

Doxsee Roofing provides high quality roofing and sheet metal services to commercial, residential and institutional clients. Established by Brian Doxsee, the current president, in 1983, the business retained vice president/owner Kendra Manning in 2000 to head business administration of the company. Doxsee and Manning look forward to continuing service to esablished clients, as well as new clients, for the newly formed entity, Doxsee Roofing Company LLC.

The companies will operate out of their current offices in Bennington and Lanesborough, but will share equipment, knowledge and workers in the most efficient manner. A unfied service department will provide clients with detailed information including budget plans, room drawings, cost-effective repair options and 24-hour emergency service.
