Blood and marrow drive set at Vermont's Norwich University


NORTHFIELD, VT. >> The Norwich University Blood and Marrow Donor Drive is going to be held at the school's Plumley Armory in Northfield.

The Thursday event takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There are 635 appointment slots available and donors can make an appointment to avoid having to wait.

Last year Norwich's fall and spring blood drives collected 786 pints. This year the goal is 821 pints.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement, American Red Cross and a bone marrow registry.
