Barrington Stage Company slates auditions


PITTSFIELD -- Barrington Stage Company will be auditioning non-union local actors Tuesday at noon for two roles in BSC’s fall production of Arthur Miller’s adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s "An Enemy of the People."

The roles are The Drunk / Rabble Rouser, and Morten Stockmann, a 12-14-year-old boy.

Auditions will be at Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, 30 Union St.

The show will rehearse Sept. 9 through Oct. 1. Performances, including previews, are Oct. 2 through 19.

Actors auditioning for The Drunk should prepare a monologue in the style of Arthur Miller.

All actors will be asked to read a scene from the play.

Actors should bring a headshot and a resume.
