3 women claim Vermont agency paid less than man
MONTPELIER (AP) - Attorneys representing three women who claim they were paid less than a male counterpart for the same work are going to be in court.
The Wednesday hearing in Vermont Superior Court in Montpelier involves equal pay claims against the Vermont Department of Corrections and Department of Human Resources by the three women.
The case is being brought under the Vermont Equal Pay Act of 2002 by the Vermont Human Rights Commission.
