BENNINGTON >> Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bennington County is proud to announce that the 29th annual Bowl for Kids' Sake will be held on April 2 at Bennington Lanes. The annual bowl-a-thon is the key funding source of the mentoring program which matches youth in the community with adult mentors. For the sixth time, The Bank of Bennington will serve as the title sponsor of Bowl for Kids' Sake, demonstrating their strong commitment to helping youth in the community.

"The Bank of Bennington is exited to sponsor Bowl for Kids' Sake and participate in this fun event that supports youth in our community," said Annick Billert, assistant vice president for The Bank of Bennington. "As an organization we strive to make a difference by supporting local causes like youth mentoring because we know it makes a difference for the future."

"The Bank of Bennington is truly a foundation of support for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and we welcome others to join them in support of Bowl for Kids' Sake as sponsors, bowlers, and fundraisers at the event," said Michael Veitch, director of community relations and development for United Counseling Service.

Interested participants can register for the event at www.crowdrise.com/bfksvt, and top individual fundraisers will be eligible to win fun prizes. There are seven wave times starting at 10:30 a.m. that last an hour and a half each, the top fundraiser for each wave will win a Fitbit Charge HR, and for every $100 raised participants will be entered to win a 40" Samsung Smart TV.
