2016 nomination sought for Shaftsbury's Ordinary Hero

SHAFTSBURY — The town of Shaftsbury, Vermont has a unique blend of many strong yet humble; ordinary yet extraordinary individuals who contribute to the fabric of our community. These civic –minded residents of Shaftsbury give of themselves without regard of recognition or reward making Shaftsbury a better place as a result of their good deeds. In 2014 Shaftsbury Historical Society was pleased to honor Ruth Levin, as our first recipient followed by the distinguished Kenneth Coonradt in 2015.

Shaftsbury Historical Society is currently seeking nominations for our 2016 Ordinary Hero.

Kindly submit a written nomination by December 31, 2015 describing why you believe that individual is an" Ordinary Hero "of Shaftsbury, Vermont to: The Shaftsbury Historical Society, PO Box 401 Shaftsbury, VT 05262.
