CASTLETON, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is going to be holding a free seminar next month on trapping through the ice.
The Jan. 11 seminar will be held at the Edward Kehoe Education Center in Castleton. Bill Pickens, president of the Vermont Trapper's Association, will discuss rules and regulations, trapping equipment, personal safety, and techniques for trapping beavers and muskrats through the ice.
Participants in will spend part of the day on Lake Bomoseen.
