TROY, N.Y. >> The Hoosick Falls football team bounced back from their loss last week to Lake George, with a 32-6 win over Tamarac on Friday night.
Quarterback Aaron Tomczak throw for a 111 yards and a touchdown through the air, while also rushing for 31 yards and touchdown on the ground in the win for Hoosick Falls.
Tristan Hunt rushed for a team-high 157 yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers in the win.
Drew Hoag had a 14 yard touchdown catch and rushed for 66 yards in the win for Hoosick Falls as well.
With the win, Hoosick Falls improves to 2-3 on the season.
The Panthers will play host to Coxsackie-Athens next Friday night.
Bulldogs overpower Hartford
MANCHESTER >> It was a scoring affair for the Burr and Burton girls soccer team in their 5-0 victory over Hartford on Friday afternoon.
Brooke Woodard scored a game-high two goals in the contest for BBA.
Emma Perry, Maggie Sullivan and Shea Lincourt each had a goal scored in the win for the Bulldogs.
Georgia Lord dished out a team-high two assists in the win for BBA.
Ana Garay and Lydia Morgantini combined for seven saves in net for the Bulldogs.
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 8-1 on the season.
The Bulldogs will next play host to rival Mount Anthony on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Raiders too much for Patriots
RUTLAND >> The Mount Anthony football team fell to 0-5 on the season with a 47-6 loss to Rutland on Friday night.
MAU will again to try win their first game of the season when they travel to play Hartford next Friday night.
Bulldogs blank Rutland
MANCHESTER>> The Burr and Burton boys soccer team picked up a shutout victory over Rutland on Friday night, defeating the Raiders 2-0.
With a scoreless game going into the second half, the Bulldogs struck for two goals to improve their record to 3-3-2 on the season.
Felix Kershaw had a goal scored and an assist in the win for BBA.
Tommy Grabher scored the other BBA goal in the contest.
The Bulldogs will next travel to play Brattleboro on Friday.
Indians soar past Panthers
HOOSICK, N.Y. >> For the second time this season, the Cambridge boys soccer team defeated rival Hoosick Falls, this time defeating the Panthers 4-1.
Eli Robertson had goal scored and dished out an assist in win for Cambridge.
Daniel Medina, Cole Boggan and Patrick Robertson each scored a goal in win for the Indians.
Michael Haynes scored the Panthers only goal of the contest off a penalty kick in the second half.
Evan McCart recorded a game-high six saves in the net for Hoosick Falls, while Cody Oldman racked up three saves for Cambridge.
Hoosick Falls will next travel to play Greenwich , while Cambridge will play host to Mechanicville.
