BENNINGTON -- Baseball Factory would like to congratulate Atrael Pineiro of Bennington on his selection to the 2014 Cape Cod Select Training and Competition and the Baseball Factory Pro Select Training and Tournament at Historic Dodgertown. Pineiro’s strong performance at the Rindge, N.H., national tryout in February earned him selections to these Baseball Factory invite-only events.

Pineiro will be our only player representing Vermont in our 14-18 year-old league. He was chosen as 1 in 40 players across the United States for the Cape Cod Select Training and Competition and 1 in 60 players across the United States for the Baseball Factory Pro Select Training and Tournament.

The Cape Cod Select Training and Competition is a national event that takes place each summer in Cape Cod, Mass., alongside the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League.

Baseball Factory’s staff of former professional scouts, former professional players and former college coaches will work with players daily on all aspects of their game.

Players will also attend Cape Cod Baseball League Games to see what it takes to play at the highest level of collegiate baseball. The national event will take place July 12-16 at Spillane Field, home of the Wareham Gatemen.

Shortly after his week in Massachusetts, Pineiro and other select 14-18 year old players from across the country will travel to Vero Beach, Fla.
