BRATTLEBORO -- The Burr and Burton Academy boys basketball team remained unbeaten with a 49-46 win over Brattleboro on Tuesday night.
Joey Shehadi had 24 points and seven rebounds for the 12-0 Bulldogs. Tyeshawn Gadson had eight and Conor Harrington added seven points and 10 rebounds.
For Brattleboro, Connor Elliott-Knaggs had 11 points. The Bulldogs play again on Friday in Manchester against Rutland.
Parks leads Elms
BENNINGTON -- Behind a 39-point, career-high performance from Denisha Parks, Elms came to the Mountaineer Athletic Center and walked away with a 71-57 victory over Southern Vermont College.
Parks also added 20 rebounds to her career-high point total.
Amber Flagg led SVC with 19 points, while Mariah Anthony had 10 off the bench.
SVC drops to 4-15 overall and 2-10 in the NECC.
BBA alpine ski results
KILLINGTON -- The Burr and Burton Academy alpine ski teams came through with a handful of top-10 finishes at Monday’s event at Pico.
Sanderson Kemp was the highest finisher for the girls, taking the runner-up spot in 1 minute, 29 seconds, four-tenths of a second behind Rutland’s Marina Rotella.
Casey Apps was next for the Bulldogs in sixth (1:29.59), Katie Bourque was seventh (1:30.66) and Sarah Alpert was eighth in 1:31.87).
On the boys side, Andrew Sherras was runner-up behind Mount St. Joseph’s Lucas Heald. Sherras finished the course in 1:25.43, about three-quarters of a second behind Heald.
Tim Swinarton was fourth in 1:25.89 and Skyler Clark next in fifth in 1:26.36. Richard Sherras ended up sixth (1:27.15) and Tanner McGrath rounded out the scoring in eighth (1:28.35).
Youth nights at MAU
The Mount Anthony Union High School Athletic Department is once again sponsoring a pair of Youth Basketball Nights for the boys and girls area youth basketball players.
Boys youth night will be on Monday, Feb. 10, when the Patriot JV and varsity boys basketball teams host Burr and Burton with JV action starting at 6, and varsity at 7:30 p.m.
All boys playing in the MAYAA Basketball League will be admitted free of charge by wearing their game jerseys.
Girls youth night will be Tuesday, Feb. 11, when the MAU JV and varsity girls basketball teams play host to Rutland. JV action starts at 5:30, followed by the varsity at 7:00.

At the halftime of each junior varsity game there will be a 10-minute exhibition game featuring two MAYAA teams. A drawing for a basketball signed by the varsity team will be held after the exhibition game for the MAYAA participants in attendance.
BENNINGTON -- Mt. Anthony Lacrosse Association will hold 2014 spring registration on February 25 and 26 at the Bennington Rec Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for boys and girls grades K thru 8.

BENNINGTON -- Wrestling sign-ups are still taking place for youth wrestlers in the area.

Mack Attack AAU sign-ups
ARLINGTON -- The Mack Attack AAU girls’ basketball season will begin practicing on March 9, and sign-ups are ongoing.
The team provides participants with an opportunity to improve basketball skills and knowledge through a challenging level of play.
