LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. -- The Hoosick Falls Central School bowling team improved to 51-1 on the season after a 4-0 rout of Hadley-Luzerne on Thursday.

Bryan Callahan and Josh McCart each had high series more than 600, with Callahan firing a 239-682 and McCart a 228-640.

Other varsity bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Logan Brogue 207-563, Josh Conn 208-552, Ken Marbot 192-504, and Josh Reveal 181-503.

Eighth-grader Jonathan Bossoni rolled the highest game of the day with a 288 (all time high game) and a 656 series for the J.V. team.

Total pins for Hoosick Falls were 3,402 and total pins for Hadley-Luzerne were 2,492 as Drew Cirillo with a 196-542 was tops for H-L.

"The team bowled very well under very oily lane conditions. This was the most oil that we have bowled on all year but this was a great experience in case we run into this condition in future tournaments in the coming weeks," said Hoosick Falls coach Bob Lang.

"The bowlers were very patient trying to find the right line to play on these difficult lane conditions. Once they found the right line and proper speed they did a great job hitting their marks and scored well."
