    Panthers look to take the next step in third varsity season

    HOOSICK, N.Y. >> In its third season as a varsity program, the Hoosick Falls Central School boys lacrosse team wants to continue to carry the winning ways of many of the other Panthers athletic teams. "At Hoosick Falls, people win and we'll put in the support necessary to get to that point," said coach Mark Marquart.

    Eight-run inning propels Panthers
    04/17/2015 10:17 PM EDT - SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. >> The Hoosick Falls softball team scored eight runs in the top of the seventh inning to turn around a five-run deficit into an 11-9 victory on Friday at Hoosic Valley. Down four, Erika Quackenbush tripled with the bases loaded to pull within 8-7. Alyssa Ellis doubled to tie the game at 8-8 and Sydney Miller added a wind-blown double as the Panthers took the lead. Full Story
