Molly Dexter and Kristen Palmer each netted a hat trick for the Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 4-5 on the season.

DARLINGTON, S.C. Jimmie Johnson certainly knows his way around Darlington Raceway, where he's scored eight top-10 finishes in nine career starts.
But the two-time NASCAR champion was one of the many drivers to struggle with Darlington's repaved surface, which is smooth and speedy and caused Johnson to wreck twice during Friday's two practice sessions.

DETROIT Josh Beckett got eight strikeouts, including the 1,000th of his career and Kevin Youkilis hit another home run at spacious Comerica Park to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 5-1 win over the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night.
