    08/21/2014 10:19 PM EDT - LOCAL SPORTS ROUNDUP HOOSICK, N.Y. -- Kicking off the fall season early on Thursday morning, the Hoosick Falls Central School golf team blanked Tamarac 5-0 at Hoosick Falls Country Club. The medalist on the day was Eric Bloomer, who shot a 36 for the Panthers. Andrew Hoag shot a 41 in his win, Ryan Bloomer shot a 44 and Jake Nolan had a 45. Full Story

The three-time World Cup veteran asked U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann to not consider him for the roster until September 2015.
