ST. JOHNSBURY, VT. >> The St. Johnsbury office for Northeast Kingdom Human Services was briefly on lock down after receiving at least four separate threats between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Executive Director D.W. Bouchard tells The Burlington Free Press that<URL destination=""> all of the threats were made through the facility's answering service, two of which on Thursday detailed "coming to one of our buildings and threatening bodily harm to everyone in the building."

The </URL>NEK Human Services offices in St. Johnsbury and Derby provide social services to Vermont residents living in the Northeast Kingdom.

Bouchard says the two threats called in Wednesday night were not at a level that warranted lock down.

Police do not believe there is a credible threat to NEK Human Services staff or patients.

An investigation is ongoing.
