Southshire Community School in North Bennington held its annual Winter Gala on Saturday, Feb. 8. Held in the basement at the Vermont Arts Exchange, the event featured live jazz by the Leah Carroll Quintet, a silent auction, an art show, dancing, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The event raised over $3,000 for the school’s art and music programs.
