It is with a heavy heart that I am closing Carmody's Restaurant at 421 Main St. Bennington.
Three weeks short of fourteen years, the economy has done us in. We want to thank everyone that has supported us over the last 13 years and look forward to extending that relationship at our Wood Fired Pizza restaurant in Hoosick New York.
I have made arrangements with Mount Anthony C.C., Kevin's Sports Pub and Restaurant and Peppermills to honor our gift certificates. Or they can be redeemed at our new restaurant which will be opened in time for St. Patrick's Day 2013 in Hoosick, N.Y.
I hope the new year brings good things to the Bennington area.
