BENNINGTON -- All polling locations in Vermont are open until 7 p.m. today. Identification is not needed to vote. Voter registration for today’s elections ended on Oct. 31, however. Vermont does not have same-day registration. Polling hours in New York state are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Below is a list of Bennington County locations and opening times:
Arlington -- Arlington Memorial High School Gymnasium 10 a.m.
Bennington -- Benn 2-1 district and 2-2 district, Bennington Fire House 5 a.m.
North Bennington -- North Bennington Trustee Office 5 a.m.
Dorset -- The Dorset School 7 a.m.
Landgrove -- Town Hall 8 a.m.
Manchester -- Town Hall 8 a.m.
Peru -- The Cheese Factory/Community House 7 a.m., Town Hall 7 a.m.
Pownal -- Pownal Center Firehouse 7 a.m.
Readsboro -- Readsboro Central School 10 a.m.
Rupert -- Town Office 10 a.m.
Sandgate -- Town Hall 10 a.m.
Searsburg -- Town Office 10 a.m.
Shaftsbury -- Buck Hill Road Firehouse 7 a.m.
Stamford -- School Hall 8 a.m.
Sunderland -- Elementary School 10 a.m.
Woodford -- Town Offices 8 a.m.
