SHAFTSBURY — The Friends of Robert Frost kicked off the 14th summer of "Sunday Afternoons with Robert Frost" with special guest Lesley Lee Francis, Frost' granddaughter. Francis delivered her talk "You Come Too: My Journey with Robert Frost" to an overflowed crowd of more than 60 at the Little Red Barn at the Robert Frost Stone House Museum.

The talk title is also the name of Francis' new book that details the memories of her grandfather, with a family history and unique literary criticism, according to a release from the Friends of Frost organization. After the program Francis signed copies of her work in the museum.

The speaker received her undergraduate education from Radcliffe College and a Ph.D. in Romance Languages from Duke University and taught as a college professor in Spanish, literature and history. Francis resides in Virginia with her family.
