BENNINGTON -- Members of the Greater Baltimore Model A Ford Club visited the Bennington Museum on Monday, the first day of a four-day tour of Vermont. In total, the seven Model As (one was not parked in line with the others) will travel over 800 miles, beginning and ending in Maryland. The club was founded in 1990 by Bruce and Greta Hittle, two big fans of the Model A Ford, which was manufactured between 1928 and 1931, and within a year had 23 families involved. Now, they have more than 100 members, and regularly go on trips such as this one. The remainder of their agenda for the day included visiting Hemmings Motor News and the Bennington Battle Monument, before visiting Hildene in Manchester later in the day.
