BENNINGTON -- The following is an updated and corrected lists of items needed by Larry and Patricia Moffitt who survived a fire at their Lincoln Street home on Saturday, but lost their son Scott Moffitt, 36, along with their belongings. Patricia Moffitt was severely injured in the incident.

The Bank of Bennington at 155 North Street is taking checks made out to Larry Moffitt. Do not make them out to the bank or Patricia Moffitt.

Clothing needed is as follows:

* In men’s sizes, medium to large shirts, sweatshirt, and jackets. Shoes, boots, and slippers size eight and one half. Pants, jeans, and shorts size 36x30.

* In women’s sizes: Shirts, jackets, and sweatshirts size four x. Pants, jeans, and shorts size three x. Shoes, boots, and slippers, size nine triple wide.

The updated list was provided by Pamela Mattison.

Brenda VanNess said clothing and household items can be dropped off at her home at 12 Tel Road off Fillmore Street anytime Friday through Sunday and after 5 p.m. other days.

According to Mattison, donation buckets have been placed at the Pretty Nail Salon, Martin’s Mobile, TJ’s Fish Fry, Mincer’s Mini Mart, Henry’s Market, Papa Pete’s, Bennington Station Restaurant, Kevin’s, Jensen’s Restaurant, The Blue Benn, Curves, the Shell stations on Northside Drive and Elm Street, Bennington Dry Cleaners and Coin-Op Laundry, Tropical Rayz, and the Crazy Russian Girl’s Bakery.
