STAMFORD -- State Police said no one was injured Tuesday afternoon when a car carrying four people went off Main Road, knocked over a mailbox, and hit a tree.
The 2000 Ford Explorer was being driven by Juik Song, 23, of the Republic of Korea. His passengers were Takahito Mizokami, 21, of Aichi, Japan, Nan Sun Been, 19, and Bae Soo Yeow, 20, both of the Republic of Korea. All were wearing seatbelts and none were injured. The vehicle sustained damage to the front end, windshield, and undercarriage.
Police said the crash occurred at 1 p.m. The weather was cloudy and the road dry at the time. The incident is still being investigated and anyone with information is being asked to contact Vermont State Police Trooper Thomas Stange at 802-442-5421.
